Otago had their first game of the Mitre 10 Cup late in August against Hawke's Bay. Otago led 17-14 at half time but weren't able to hold onto the lead as Hawke's Bay came back in the second half to win 31-25.
Last Friday's game against Northland had a better outcome for the boys. Otago had to overcome a 10-point deficit after Northland gained a 17-7 lead early in the second half. The boys hit back to take the lead late in the game securing a 27-23 win - what a game!
Otago take on our closest rival for their next home game. Make sure you are under the roof as the boys play Canterbury on September 22nd.
We are still smiling after one of the biggest concerts Forsyth Barr Stadium has ever hosted. 37,000 P!NK fans were treated to a truly spectacular show, a perfect mix of choreography, aerial acrobatics, pyrotechnics and amazing vocals. In a jaw dropping finish P!NK ended the show flying through the air above the crowd. The concert was another big step up in what we can do here at the Stadium.
It was great to see Members taking advantage of the Pop-up Members Lounge to avoid the queues. Keep an eye out for details of what will be on offer for Members at our next concert.

We are proud to host a number of community events here at the Stadium. Last weekend saw the Dunedin Marathon runners finishing inside the Stadium for the first time. Next weekend we'll host the Stadium Climb and later in October there's the Dunedin Light Party.
