Cricket, rugby and three great shows - get ready for a busy start to 2019!
We finished 2018 with another fantastic concert! Shania Twain was the queen of entertainment, performing a mix of old and new hits, and providing plenty of banter with the crowd. Not only was it a great show, but it had significant economic impact for Dunedin. Visiting spectators injected $5.5 million into the economy while they were here.
We kicked off 2019 with two big concert announcements!
Legendary, GRAMMY-award winning band Fleetwood Mac announced an Australian and New Zealand tour, featuring a welcome return to Dunedin on September 21.
The Tour will feature the new line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie along with newcomers Mike Campbell and Neil Finn.
After more than half a century on the road and an unparalleled career that has redefined the cultural landscape, Elton announced details of his farewell tour. He will play under the roof on 4 February 2020.
Elton John was our first ever concert at the Stadium back in 2011 and we can’t wait to welcome him back. You won’t want to miss the last chance to see the Rocket Man under the roof!
We hope you secured your tickets in the Members' presale. Public tickets are on sale now from Ticketmaster. Please note, Ticketmaster is the only authorised ticket seller for this show.
The BLACKCAPS v Bangladesh is only one week away! We look forward to hosting you in The Village Green for a brilliant day of cricket next Wednesday. Event information was sent to you last week but if you
missed it you can click here for more info.
The Highlanders first home match of the season is on next Friday against the Reds. You won't want to miss it! New Membership packs will be sent prior to this match - keep an eye out as you'll need your new card to get in.
Lounge information for this match will be sent early next week.
Keep an eye out for your Members' only entry at the Highlanders v Reds match. You'll still enter through Gate J but the left-hand doors will be exclusively for Members - just follow the red carpet!
The Hollies are playing at the Town Hall on Tuesday 26 February. For those Members who have tickets there will be a Members' area in Chesters Lounge on Level Two where you can enjoy a drink prior to the show. Bring your Members' Lanyard for access to this area - don't forget your ticket to get into the show!
Our first big concert of the year under the roof is just around the corner. Bramwells Lounge will be open for Members, when Eagles play on Saturday 2 March. Your "all you need to know" email will be sent about a week before the concert.
The weekend after Eagles, local legends Six60 will play at Forsyth Barr Stadium with special guests Drax Project, SWIDT, JessB and Illbaz. Bramwells Lounge will also be open for Members at this show - more information will be sent prior to the show.
