Southern United v Canterbury United Dragons

There was Sunday afternoon football under the roof as Southern United took on the Canterbury United dragons in the 2016 Stirling Sports Premiership R2.

The final score was Southern United 1 - 3 Canterbury United.

First up, a huge thank you to the enthusiastic crowd that came along - the guys are gutted we couldn't get the win for you. Can't deny that Canterbury were the better team for much of the match & the luscious Aaron Clapham put on a clinic - but those penalties which bookended the match really hurt. Although there's a bit to work on, there were still plenty of positives to take from our performance. Once again, thanks to everyone for the brilliant support. - Southern United FC, Facebook post.
