Vehicle
Parking near Forsyth Barr Stadium is limited. On event days, the east end carpark is reserved for Stadium Members with permits.
Traffic can be heavy, so parking closer to the Stadium may mean longer exit times.
For easier access, consider parking around the harbour area, where free spaces are available.
Bus
One of the easiest, and quickest ways to get to the Stadium is by bus.
Regular bus services run from many parts of the city – see here for bus timetables.
Extra services and extended times are likely on major event days. Routes and times are subject to change for major event days.
Bike
Cycling to the Stadium is a great way to avoid traffic delays and congestion.
Bike stands are available at Gate F, H and in the Plaza beside Unipol.
Walk
If a gentle stroll is your thing, walking is one of the best ways to get to the Stadium.
Forsyth Barr Stadium is a short, flat 20-minute walk from the Centre of Dunedin or the Octagon.
Taxis & Ubers
Dunedin has options for both taxis and Uber. Demand for these services can be high during events.
Pre-booking both legs of your journey is recommended
E-Scooter
E- Scooters are an easy way to get to the Stadium. In Dunedin we have Flamingo scooters.
You will need to download the app to ride, please follow the conditions of the app and ride responsibly.
Mobility parking
There are seven mobility car parks available in the east end carpark between Gates E & F.
These parks are available on a ‘first in’ basis. Mobility passes must be visible and all car park regulations adhered to.
If these parks are full additional mobility park may be available on Logan Park Drive on event days.
Road closures and transport information
Keep up to date with all transport information so you can plan your route to the stadium and avoid any unexpected delays.
Major events will impact the roads nearby the stadium, and some may be closed.
