Community Event Funding

How would you like to have your community event or activity at Forsyth Barr Stadium?

Dunedin Venues Management Limited supports and encourages individuals and groups to develop their given passion. Community users can apply for funding through the Dunedin City Council Community Access Grant to get free or subsidised venue rental at Forsyth Barr Stadium or the Dunedin Centre. Applications for the funding of $750,000 can be submitted during two funding rounds each year. The application round for events from 1st January – 30th June 2018 has now closed. Fundraising Opportunities - Hosting and Event Staff

Dunedin Venues in partnership with Red Badge Group can now offer opportunities for committed groups to fundraise while helping to provide awesome experiences at Forsyth Barr Stadium. Working as part of our Awesome Events service, groups including schools, service clubs and community groups are able to work in roles such as ticketing and ushering at some of New Zealand's greatest events.

Everyone involved will be required to complete and Stadium induction and training in areas including Customer Service, Ticketing and Event Safety.
