How would you like to have your community event or activity at Forsyth Barr Stadium or the Dunedin Centre?

Dunedin Venues Management Limited supports and encourages individuals and groups to develop their given passion. Community users can apply for funding through the Dunedin City Council Community Access Grant scheme to get subsidised venue rental at Forsyth Barr Stadium or the Dunedin Centre.

Community Access Grant applications are now open for events in January – June 2025.

Applications close on Monday, 30 September 2024. Submit your application now through the below link and you will receive an outcome email within 8 weeks of applications closing. If you haven’t received your notification by this time, please contact [email protected].

Please make sure you review the below guidelines to ensure your event qualifies before applying. These guidelines also provide information surrounding what the fund covers at the venue.

2025 Forsyth Barr Stadium Funding Guidelines

The Community Access Grant applications can be submitted during two funding rounds per year.  

  • Applications open Monday 3rd March 2025; for events July – December 2025.
  • Applications open Monday 1st September 2025; for events January - June 2026.
